Stacking Stories

In 2013, I partnered with Wajma Mohseni to interview individuals who fled conflict in their homelands, asking about one object of sentimental value they were able to bring. We gave their recollections shape through a physical installation that used stones, sand and computer vision to guide visitors through the collected narratives. We are now revisiting the project with the goal of using Augmented Reality to bring these stories to life.
